Information we collect

We collect the limited information needed to run your private check: names or nicknames, email addresses, optional WhatsApp numbers, relationship stage or duration, questionnaire answers, important-answer flags, session status, report unlock status, selected paid plan, report availability details, payment status, referral information, and basic technical or security information such as request timing and abuse-prevention signals.

How we use information

We use this information to create and secure a private session, let both partners answer separately, generate the comparison report, deliver optional notifications, process paid report unlocks, provide PDF downloads, maintain referral links, prevent misuse, understand product performance, and respond to support requests.

Private links and sharing

Invite links, access codes, result links, and PDF links are intended only for the people you choose to share them with. We do not add private result links to our public sitemap, but anyone with a valid private link may be able to open it until it expires. Please share links carefully.

Automated report generation

Some paid plans use automated software and trusted processing providers to turn your questionnaire comparison into readable guidance. We limit that processing to the information needed to create the report and do not intentionally send contact details, payment references, private links, or internal identifiers for report generation.

Payments

Paid report unlocks are processed by Razorpay. We receive and store limited payment information needed to confirm the unlock, such as order status, amount, currency, plan, payment reference, and verification result. Card, bank, wallet, or UPI details are handled by Razorpay. Razorpay's privacy policy is available at razorpay.com/privacy-policy.

Service providers

We use trusted third-party service providers for website hosting, data storage, payment processing, email or message delivery, analytics, security, and automated report generation. These providers are allowed to process information only as needed to provide their services to CoupleConvo.

Analytics, referral tracking, and storage

We use allowlisted analytics events to understand the product funnel and reliability. Analytics must not include names, contact details, answers, question text, report content, invite codes, result tokens, payment references, or provider responses. We also use referral tokens to understand referred visits and assessments.

The app uses browser localStorage to keep session progress, role, draft answers, and referral information on your device. We do not currently rely on non-essential cookies for the core questionnaire and report flow.

Retention and deletion

Online report viewing is available for 7 days after the report is generated or unlocked. Downloadable report files may be available for up to 30 days after report generation. Questionnaire answers, report data, and session data are automatically deleted after 30 days. Limited records may be kept longer where needed for payment reconciliation, fraud prevention, legal compliance, security, or dispute handling.

You can request earlier deletion by contacting support@coupleconvo.com. We may need enough information to find the relevant session.

Security and international processing

We use practical technical and organizational safeguards, including private tokens, access checks, rate limits, and server-side payment verification. No online service can guarantee perfect security. Your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live, depending on where our service providers operate.

Your choices and rights

CoupleConvo is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain uses of your personal information. To make a privacy request or ask a question, contact support@coupleconvo.com.
